Bas Bleu Theatre Overview

Since 1992, Bas Bleu has been presenting exceptional theater in an intimate setting in Fort Collins, Colorado. This fantastic non-profit organization is modeled after the 18th century European literary salons called “Bluestockings,” or Bas Bleu, where people gathered to discuss art, politics, and other topics of cultural importance. It’s located in the old Giddings Building near the picturesque Cache La Poudre River in the heart of Fort Collins’ Old Town. Constructed in 1910, the historic building was originally designed to house the Giddings’ Western Steel Headgate Company, but was transformed in 2003 to become a 106-seat theater and lobby art gallery.
