Sausalito Woman's Club Overview
Designed by Julia Morgan, California's first registered woman architect and designer of the amazing Hearst Castle, the Sausalito Woman's Club is located in a lovely historic residential neighborhood with sweeping views of San Francisco and the Bay. Walking through the venue’s grounds and buildings is like taking an elegant step back in time. With recent projects adding a more modern feel to the Clubhouse, its integrity, including many of the original materials, has been carefully preserved. The gardens and views are gorgeous and the interior décor is filled with great reminders of the Club’s traditions and historical significance. Since its dedication as a woman’s club in 1917, the Sausalito Woman’s Club has been one of the Bay Area’s premier venues for special occasions and celebrations.Venue Notes
The rental fee is $6,000. A refundable security deposit is due when the rental contract is submitted, and the rental fee is payable 2 months prior to the function. Weekend rentals include All Day, with an opinion to purchase a 3 hour block of time the day before or the day after, depending on availability for $300. Requirements
- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Choose from a list for catering- General liability insurance required- Guests must be shuttled in if more than 40 guests- Music must end by 9:30PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- No smoking- Valet parking or shuttle service required- Venue must approve all decorations- Wheelchair access limited
