Elizabeth City Shrine Club Overview

The Elizabeth City Shrine Club is known for hosting many events throughout the year in support of Shriners Hospital for Children. However, the beautifully-appointed clubhouse and grounds are available for rent to the public. Enjoy the cozy setting, natural beauty, and an affordable rate when you conveniently host all your wedding festivities on site. The club's grounds feature a verdant, well-manicured lawn area with a charming pergola, that can be used for your wedding ceremony. Your guests and photographer(s) will fall in love with the lovely waterfront location. After the ceremony, guests can walk along the pier, and can mingle over cocktails inside the clubhouse bar area or back outside on the lawn. Meanwhile, you can pose for your formal portraits. The gorgeous natural setting of water and sky will create a truly romantic backdrop for your photographs. Reunite with your guests for a fun and fabulous reception in the clubhouse Dining Room. You and your guests can keep the celebration with a delicious catered meal and dancing. Your caterer of choice will have access to a warming kitchen. A stage is also available in the dining room and can be used by a DJ or live band.

Venue Notes

The rental fee is $400 for a ceremony and reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. A refundable security deposit of $150 is required.
