Bluewater Overview

With spectacular views of the Intracoastal Waterway, Bluewater is the perfect facility for your wedding celebration. Whether you’re planning a small gathering with 10 of your closest family and friends, or a grand affair with 150 guests, our professional events team will help you create the coastal wedding of your dreams. Bluewater specializes in wedding ceremonies & receptions with an intimate, personal touch. Our two-story restaurant includes five private event rooms with excellent views of the marina. The Florida Room receives amazing natural light and is excellent for small groups. As its name implies, our Sunset Room or South Café are perfect locations for catching the evening sunset views over the water. They are both perfect for smaller groups and include deck access, allowing for guests to mingle outside. The Second Floor Main Dining Room is a favorite for mid-size parties. It’s the perfect space for your wedding reception and can be reserved with either of the other upstairs private rooms. The second floor bar area, fondly named The Captains Lounge, can accommodate mid-size groups and also makes a great location for cocktail hour. You can rent the entire second floor of Bluewater to accommodate up to 150 guests! Our Chef takes pride in sourcing the best local seafood from the waters that surround Wrightsville Beach. We will help you develop a menu to tempt the palate of all your guests. We look forward to hosting your most special day!

Venue Notes

There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 5 hours of event time excluding 1 hour of set up and 1 hour of clean up time. The set up fee for a wedding ceremony is $1,000. Additional hours are available, please inquire directly with the venue. Please note the service fee is taxable.
