Seacoast Science Center Overview
Perched on a prime part of the New Hampshire’s coast is the picturesque, seaside wedding venue: the Seacoast Science Center. The Seacoast Science Center grounds, located within historic Odiorne Point State Park, include an oceanfront event tent and evening use of our museum exhibits and aquarium. Imagine the open sky, deep blue ocean, and expansive grounds lined with trees as the backdrop to your special day. Exchange your vows in front of the open ocean and dance the night away under a beautiful white tent with the sound of waves quietly crashing on the rocky shore. Clients can feel great knowing that hosting their wedding at the Seacoast Science Center is an investment in continuing 25 years of ocean education and marine mammal rescue in the region.Venue Notes
The site rental fee for wedding receptions are $9,750. There is no additional cost for a ceremony if you book a reception. The site rental fee includes 4 hours of on-site prep time, 6 hours of event time, and 1+ hour of clean-up time. Clients have exclusive use of our oceanside event tent, lawn, and 2 indoor rooms for prep or back-up indoor event space. Clients also have exclusive use of full museum & exhibits after 5:00pm. Hourly rates are available for wedding receptions of under 75 guests. Please inquire for further details. Ceremony-only events start at $500 and may be booked all days of the week except Saturday. In addition to the site rental fee, clients may be billed a NH State Parks entrance fee, police detail fee, and cleaning deposit for the event.Amenities And Requirements

Requirements
- Alcohol must be contracted through and served by a SSC-approved, licensed bartender/caterer- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- BYO alcohol- General liability insurance required- Music must end by 11:00PM- No balloons due to their adverse effect on wildlife- No fire or pyrotechnics, including wish lanterns and bonfires- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Smoking in designated areas only- Venue must approve all decorations- Wedding coordinator required
