Celebrate your nuptials in the golden city of Sacramento—a city synonymous with sunshine and great weather! Sacramento's Southgate Recreation and Park District offers a variety of community center and park rentals to meet your wedding celebration needs. Whether you envision a small gathering or a grand affair, the city of Sacramento can help your wedding dreams come true! The Fruitridge Community Center features a large indoor space that can be divided into smaller rooms using movable partitions. The center makes a wonderful complement to ceremonies held off site, whether at a courthouse or at a nearby park or local place of worship. You may also opt to host your ceremony on site. Pledge your love on the grassy expanse of one of the soccer fields or beneath one of the shade structures. Treat your guests to a unique cocktail hour in the picnic area. Then, move the celebration indoors for a fun reception that includes a delicious catered meal and dancing! The well-trained staff is ready to cater to your needs, ensuring a maximum value, and a stress-free experience.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $175 to $235 for a ceremony and reception and includes 1 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $235/hr. The fee for a ceremony only wedding is $235/hour. A refundable security deposit of $450 is required. If no alcohol is served, pricing is subject to change. Set up is an additional $30/hour. An outdoor area is available for rent for an additional fee.
