Mission San Francisco Solano Overview

Marry the love of your life in the charming and historic chapel of Mission San Francisco Solano. Founded in 1823, this mission was the 21st mission in Alta California and the only one built during the Mexican era. It operated for just 11 years before the Mexican Congress decided to close all of the missions on Mexican soil. In 1841, a smaller adobe church was built in the same location as the mission’s original wooden chapel. The beautiful adobe church has endured the test of time and today offers a one-of-a-kind setting for you to exchange your vows. Its authentic décor, vibrant colors, and charming exterior will provide a stunning backdrop for both your ceremony and your “first look” or post-ceremony photo session.
