Park Avenue United Methodist Church Overview

Conveniently located on the Upper East Side, Park Avenue United Methodist Church is easily accessible by public transportation and is steps away from Central Park! Our 92-year-old historic Sanctuary holds up to 380 guests and is filled with one-of-kind details including the original wooden doors, vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, and an enormous organ. The Reverend Dr. Cathy S Gilliard, the Senior Pastor with 26 years of ministry experience, serves as our officiant and will work with you to create a customized ceremony. She is also available to offer premarital counseling sessions for the bride and groom. All weddings at PAUMC include: -A Venue Coordinator to assist with your planning needs and offer day-of expertise -A Ceremony rehearsal -Several dressing rooms for the wedding party -Security -Setup and cleanup We have several other halls available to host a rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and reception for up to 75 people. Each room can be transformed to suit your needs, including table setup, special lighting, and music. Whether you are looking for an intimate event or something grand, Park Avenue United Methodist Church can help complete your vision! Venue Notes

The rental fee begins at $2500 for a ceremony and includes 3 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. Rehearsal dinner and reception packages also available.
