The Church of the Good Shepherd (Episcopal) Overview

The Church of the Good Shepherd is a favorite venue in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area for weddings, parties and business gatherings of all sizes. Conveniently located in the Fairfax/Burke area of Northern Virginia, we are just minutes away from major highways, including the 495 beltway. Our 5,600 square foot Grand Hall easily facilitates a seated dinner for over 300 guests plus open spaces for dancing, DJ or band, and buffet/bar setup. We have a large stage which provides an impressive place for the bridal party to be on prominent display. All Grand Hall rentals include access to our light-filled adjoining Atrium and terrace, both of which provide for elegant cocktail mingling before your event. Caterer access to our professionally equipped commercial kitchen is also included with all rentals. We have a variety of other spaces available on our campus and can easily accommodate groups of all sizes, plus extensive parking for more than 300 vehicles. Venue Notes

Rental fees range from $1,600 to $3,200 for a typical eight-hour reception, including time for set-up, decorating, and cleanup. We can customize the number of hours based on your needs for $200-$400 per hour. A fully refundable security deposit of $1,000 is required. We can also arrange to set up the banquet tables and chairs for you ahead of time for an additional $350.
