Historic Dunkirk Lighthouse Overview
Merging historic grandeur with natural beauty, the Historic Dunkirk Lighthouse offers a truly magical yet affordable backdrop for your big day. First established on Point Gratiot in 1827, this beautiful lighthouse was originally made by Fresnel and imported from Paris to light the way for incoming ships. Today, this historic monument and its surrounding park are a beloved setting for saying your “I do’s.” Imagine hosting an open air ceremony on the lush green lawn, sharing your first kiss as spouses before the grand, sparkling expanse of Lake Erie. This location is picture perfect for sunset ceremonies! Though ceremonies are quite popular, couples can also celebrate their union with an open-air reception in the park. Dine on delectable cuisine and dance with your feet in the finely manicured lawns as you revel in your first hours of married life surrounded by your friends and family. The lighthouse will overlook you as you dance the night away with your beloved!Venue Notes
The rental fee is $200 for a reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony is $200 with reception rental or $200 for a ceremony only wedding. Venue is able to hold events other times of the year, please inquire directly with the venue.
