Swann Lake Stables is part of a gated private residence located in Birmingham, AL. The home was originally built as Swann House (aka Swann Castle) by the famed Theodore Swann, a local businessman who struck it rich in 1920. The current owners rebuilt the Swann Lake Stables that are now used solely as an event venue for special occasions. The property is located on the edge of the Little Cahaba River with a stone patio that is built directly into the river surrounded by green meadows and mature trees that set the stage for stunning photo opportunities. The Stables are both rustic, modern and trendy and beautifully appointed throughout. The interior warm woods, chandeliers, natural stone flooring and expansive glass doors and windows are stunning. Barn doors slide open to a gorgeous outdoor stone fireplace that is a romantic ceremony setting and backdrop to add to the wedding photographs.
