Located in beautiful downtown Asheville, First Congregational UCC-Asheville values sharing its facilities with the community. When you host your wedding day at First Congregational UCC-Asheville it will be marked by rest and tranquility. Enjoy the warmth of friends and the support of your loving community as you and your beloved exchange vows bathed in the sanctuary's light. The church's sanctuary offers a beautiful, classic, chapel-style setting. The sanctuary features large glass stained windows and a middle aisle lined with candlesticks on the dark wooden pews. At the end of the aisle is a modest altar. Say I do," with loved ones looking on in a heartfelt ceremony. The sanctuary offers an intimate and personal atmosphere for your special day. The church's newly renovated Friendship Hall is also available for your reception. For some couples, churches represent the perfect ceremony location. First Congregational UCC-Asheville's classic setting is ideal for couples who value their faith. The dedicated staff is wholly committed to making your wedding day unforgettable and to help strengthen you as you enter into marriage.

Venue Notes

The rental fee for the sanctuary for a wedding ceremony is $2,000. Additional hours can be arranged, please inquire with the venue for more details. The rental fee for Friendship Hall for non-members (reception hall) is $4,000 for a reception or rehearsal dinner and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. A refundable security deposit of $200 is required. A Wedding Coordinator for just a wedding is $450 and if there is also a reception, it would be $650. This is a mandatory requirement for any wedding.
