The Old River House Overview

Welcome to one of the prettiest spots in the city. Known by the community as a place that was always bustling with activity, it was sad to hear that a favorite spot in Fort Lauderdale was closing in 2009. This fantastic space is made up of two homes built in 1903. Not only is it rich in history, but it is situated adjacent to a massive waterway that was essential to the growth of the city. This home welcomed people near and far to wine and dine in a beautiful location overlooking breathtaking views as a restaurant that only served the best of the region. However, the sadness was short term because the rustic building has since reopened its doors with a new name. The Old River House is now a bustling restaurant that makes the perfect space for your love to blossom. Indoor and outdoor reception style seating accommodations are available and there are no limits to the possibilities of your romantic weekend getaway. The Old River House celebrates new beginnings, it is thrilled to celebrate your new beginning with the person of your dreams!

Venue Notes

There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a wedding ceremony is $1,000 with reception rental. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $1,000/hr. Summer discounts may apply. Events with a smaller guest count can be accommodated, please inquire directly with the venue. There is an additional $150 fee if the captain performs the ceremony.
