Pledge your love in a whimsical outdoor ceremony, then move the festivities indoors to the Barbara Belding Lodge. The amazing lodge includes seating for up to 125 guests on the main level, a catering kitchen, outdoor deck, and woodland views, making it the perfect place for your wedding reception. The outdoor deck can be used for cocktail hour, allowing your guests to take in views of the beautiful forest preserve setting as the mix and mingle over cocktails and appetizers. The main level space offers a rustic and cozy environment, ideal for dining and dancing. The facility features exposed wooden beams and contemporary lantern-style light fixtures. Rental of the lodge and outside grounds is $500 for the first four hours, and $100 per hour thereafter. All events must conclude no later than 11:30 p.m., meaning the facility must be cleaned, cleared and vacated by that time (or the end of your booking). The lodge should appear as you found it, when you arrived. If you need additional time for decorating, photography, catering, etc. that should be booked as part of your contract.
