Located just 5 miles east of Savannah's Historic District and 20 minutes from Tybee Island, Oatland Island Wildlife Center is a naturally beautiful setting for your wedding celebration. Beautiful in all seasons, Oatland Island Wildlife Center has indoor and outdoor facilities that are available for both daytime and evening events held year round. Pledge your love in an intimate and whimsical outdoor ceremony, choose from a waterfront backdrop or a perfectly shaded area among the trees. The stunning natural surroundings will make the perfect complement to your heartfelt vows. After the ceremony and your formal portraits, reunite with your guests inside the historic building for your fabulous reception. The rental fee is $500 for a reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony is $150 with reception rental or $150 for a ceremony only wedding. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $50/hr. A refundable security deposit of $50 is required. Please inquire directly with the venue regarding serving alcohol, biodegradable throwables, and what is allowed the the venue.
