Ned Ashton House Overview
Surrounded by picturesque parkland in Iowa City, the Ned Ashton House offers an idyllic setting for your wedding day festivities. The stately home was built in 1947 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. For indoor parties, the house offers a 2,644-square-foot upper level and a 2,564-square-foot lower level, each of which can accommodate up to 50 people. Featuring open layouts and neutral décor, these flexible spaces offer the perfect setting in which to make your dream wedding a reality. If you prefer to celebrate outside, the estate’s sprawling lawn and lush foliage will provide a scenic backdrop while you say “I do” and toast your new marriage in style. Host your upcoming wedding at the Ned Ashton House and it’s sure to be a beautiful celebration in a one-of-a-kind setting!Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $300 to $600 for a ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged, please inquire directly with the venue. A refundable security deposit is required. Outside caterer is allowed. All day rental is $750 Friday-Sunday and $375 Monday-Thursday. Venue is also a great place for rehearsal dinner.Amenities And Requirements
