Set in the heart of charming Greenwood, South Carolina, The Museum and Railroad Historical Center is an eclectic mix of history and science that can bring fun and elegance to any event. The museum boasts three floors of exhibits dedicated to history, natural history, and science. It also merged with the railroad museum and now exhibits the collection of antique train cars, of which a locomotive, five passenger cars, and a caboose are restored. For another vintage touch, the museum also restored a “Cinderella”-style coach circa 1953, which was created for a Greenwood ladies’ social club. With brick walls and paneled flooring, the museum brings just the right amount of polished refinement accented by a rustic flair. The South’s charm and beauty are evident, but don't impede the museum’s playful side. Whatever your theme, your wedding is sure to be memorable at this unique little spot.
