Helena Civic Center Overview

Your special day will be nothing short of magical at the Helena Civic Center! Originally built in 1921 as the Algeria Shrine Temple, the impressive Moorish Revival style building became city property after it was damaged in the 1935 earthquakes. Today, the Civic Center’s magnificent ballroom offers an unrivaled setting for your wedding celebration. Featuring soaring vaulted ceilings, luxurious chandeliers, a beautiful décor, and plenty of space for all your friends and family, this spectacular room is the perfect place to host an elegant reception. In addition to providing a stunning backdrop for your wedding festivities, the Helena Civic Center also boasts an abundance of gorgeous spots where you and your fiancé can pose for romantic wedding photographs. Bring your dream wedding to life at this beautiful and historic venue and it’s sure to be the happiest day of your life!

Venue Notes

The rental fee is $1,000 (25% discount Mon-Thu) for a reception and/or ceremony which includes 15 consecutive hours. A staff person is available during the entirety for help with lighting, sound, trash collection, spills, etc. Equipment is set to your specifications before your arrival and no tear down is required by the client. An alcohol/food permit or licensed caterer is required to serve alcohol or food, please inquire for more details. An additional fee of $300 is charged when serving alcohol. An additional decorating day is available for a fee of $450. There are many amenities included with the base rental fee. Additional equipment that can be rented in house which includes tables, chairs, pipe & drape and platform risers.
