Express Live Overview
With dramatic lighting and industrial architecture, Express Live offers an adventurous, rock ‘n roll vibe that adds an electric and energetic element to your wedding celebration. Located in the Arena District of downtown Columbus, the venue is a short stroll from the Scioto River and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, bars, and clubs. The space offers options for indoor and outdoor celebrations, with the interior transforming into a ballroom if you choose. If needed, your event can extend into Express Live’s adjacent venues: The Basement and A&R Music Bar. As a premier music venue (named Top 25 Most Popular Music Clubs in the U.S. by Billboard), it can accomodate as few as 100 guests and up to 5,000. There’s a stage for live music and ample room for dancing. Although the vibe is dark and moody, you can go either way: intense, rocker vibes, or elegant black-tie. There’s no right or wrong here. - Alcohol must be provided by venue- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- LED candles only- Music must end by 2:00AM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Outdoor music must end by 11:00PM- Smoking in designated areas only- Venue must approve all decorations
