Hagley Museum and Library Overview
Find a little bit of old European charm in Wilmington, Deleware at the Hagley Museum and Library. The property boasts the Soda House, its exquisite wedding venue that mixes old-school and modern design elements for a unique backdrop for your nuptials. The structure was built in 1888, nestled in the rolling hills of Chateau Country, located in Brandywine Valley. It features local Brandywine blue rock, traditional French gardens, and even a cheerful yellow boxcar for a rustic touch. Share your first look in front of Eleutherian Mills, which droops with wisteria in the spring and is covered with lush vines in the summer and fall. The architecture of the Mills is reminiscent of a French or English country estate, and the gardens provide an elegant backdrop for the ceremony and cocktail hour.Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $500 to $4,000 for a reception and includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony is $2,250 for a ceremony only wedding.
