Prallsville Mills Overview

Rustic meets refined at the incomparable Prallsville Mills. Set along the banks of the Delaware River and historic Tow Path, just one hour from both Philadelphia and New York City, this beautifully preserved, Industrial Age village in the quaint town of Stockton, NJ is exclusively yours for your event. Extensive lush grounds seamlessly lead guests from picturesque outdoor nooks, perfect for exchanging vows, to historic spaces within the village set to create timeless celebrations. Our Grist Mill, with its extensive wood beams and antique gear work, speak to a time of expert craftsmanship and make for a truly unique environment. In addition, the Saw Mill serves as an open rustic space for a casual, alfresco cocktail hour or laid back after party and whiskey bar lounge. The John Prall House, just steps away, offers intimate gathering spaces for your bridal party, along with a beautifully appointed private lounge, for couples to add those last final touches prior to their wedding ceremony. While the layout of the property sets the ideal stage for a beautifully curated microwedding, the Grist Mill can accommodate formally seated dinners of roughly 130 guests, and more for cocktail receptions. With breathtaking river views, textures and backdrops, the options are endless to create and share your love story with family and friends. Wedding Celebrant & Event Designer Cynthia Manchester, whose private studio is on property, has more than a decade of experience creating organic, bespoke wedding ceremonies, celebrations and fine art photography workshops for the most wonderful couples and clients, throughout the US and Europe. Having trained under some of New York & Philadelphia’s most established Event Stylists, Cynthia’s keen sense of environmental and floral design established her as one of the region’s finest in Event Curation and Planning. Her award winning team, Oleander, continues to offer Specialty Decor Rentals onsite, to those seeking to create an inviting, styled event space. Beyond coordinating events here at the Mills, Cynthia also proudly serves throughout the area as a Humanist Celebrant, crafting and officiating highly personalized interfaith, intercultural and secular wedding ceremonies, inclusive of all.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $4,500 to $5,500 for a reception and includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for an extra fee. A processing fee of 4% will be applied if the payment is made by credit card.

Requirements

- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Alcohol package to be provided by the venue preferred vendor- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Choose from a list for catering- General insurance required for the outside vendors- General liability insurance required- Music must end by 11:00PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- No smoking- Only Biodegradable thowables allowed- Venue must approve all decorations- Wedding coordinator required
