Shining Tides Weddings By the Sea Overview
Sparkling ocean vistas of Mattapoisett Harbor, sandy beaches and romantic sunsets are only a start to your dream wedding at Shining Tides. The lovely waterfront view is breathtaking and the perfect setting for your special day. This sprawling venue was originally built in 1887 as a spacious summer home and now offers ample rooms for the wedding party to prepare for the big day in a historical room with classic ambiance. The beach house is truly a jewel and offers expansive porches with lovely rocking chairs. Your dream wedding day may begin with your ceremony on the beach followed by cocktails on the sprawling green lawn all with unparalleled ocean views. The long wooden dock is the perfect spot for First Look photos or post ceremony portraits with your entire wedding party. Guests will be graciously invited to dine on the newly expanded porch and enjoy the ocean view and the panoramic sunsets while they dance the night away under the stars.Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $4,000 to $7,000 for a ceremony and reception and includes 5.5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. An additional half hour can be arranged for a fee of $500. There is a $150 set up fee to move chairs from ceremony to reception. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required.
