Located in the heart of downtown Boston and nestled among grand skyscrapers, Old South Meeting House is a unique venue for your wedding day. This treasured National Historic Landmark offers you an opportunity to create an event that is simple, elegant, and steeped in history. Today, much of the interior looks as it did in the 18th century, arranged in the traditional New England meeting house style. The simplicity of line and symmetrical proportions achieve a quiet beauty. When adorned with flowers and personal touches, the effect is truly stunning. Perfect for wedding ceremonies of any size, Old South Meeting House seats up to 250 people on the first floor, and an additional 300 in the balcony. It is also available for intimate receptions of 100 people or fewer. The fee for a ceremony-only wedding is between $2,800 to $4,100. Our wedding ceremony rental is for a 1 hour rehearsal the day before and 3 hours on the day of the wedding, which includes time for setup and break down. Your wedding may exceed three hours for an additional charge. For a ceremony and reception, the rental fee ranges from $6,000 to $7,000 for a 7 hour rental plus rehearsal. Rental hours for ceremony and reception can be adjusted as needed. Please inquire with venue coordinator for details.
