The Sutter Club Overview
Founded in 1889, the Sutter Club is the second oldest private club in the state of California. This historic venue offers a timeless and elegant setting, ideal for creating memories that will last a lifetime. The Sutter Club is a the perfect location for a reception only or reception with ceremony. The California Room is a magnificent space that boasts 20-foot high ceilings, majestic floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed beams, and vintage chandeliers. With the rental fee you also have use of The Library and Card Room which is the ideal space for your ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing. All of our dinner packages include hors d' oeuvres, champagne toast and cake cutting with service. Expect exceptional cuisine, attentive service, exquisite wines, handcrafted cocktails, and grand spaces that speak to a bygone age of luxury and opulence. Rental fees include all tables, chairs, linens, china and dance floor as well as all service staff, set-up and tear down. The venue allows 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time.
