Abernethy Center Overview

The Abernethy Center just outside of Portland Oregon is a wedding destination filled with style. The Abernethy Center can accommodate both your wedding ceremony as well as reception. The center has stunning grounds perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The Veiled Garden or Abigail’s Garden are both pristine spaces surrounded by a lush green environment. You and your sweetheart may wed under a white gazebo, walk down cobblestone paths, observe a stunning waterfall and walk through graceful archways. This scenic space will have both you and your guests feeling romantic. For those seeking an indoor ceremony, you can use Abernethy’s Chapel. The Chapel is a sweet interior space that provides a more traditional wedding ceremony. This chapel has beautiful windows and stunning light fixtures that will give your wedding an ornate feeling. After the ceremony venture to the outdoor patio for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, under the twinkling lights. A reception with style is easy to accomplish at the graceful Abernethy Ballroom. The neutral Ballroom is an elegant space that comes to life with floral centerpieces and romantic candles. A dance floor and state-of-the-art sound and lighting will keep you entertained and dancing.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $1,650 to $5,800 for a ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. There is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. Please inquire with venue coordinator for details. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $350/hr. A security deposit of $500 is required. Please inquire about special pricing for November through April weddings.
