Located on the beautiful, sprawling campus of Eastern Oregon University, the Gilbert Event Center provides a large, flexible space for any ambience you envision for your wedding. The Gilbert Center’s wood beamed, arched ceiling adds a unique architectural touch to the space helping to add a rustic, more inviting sense to your ceremony or reception. The space’s open feel provides a blank canvas for you to create a personalized setting for your wedding. Whether you string twinkling lights across the arched ceiling to create a romantic, intimate environment, use exquisite place settings to create a sophisticated feel, or utilize more personalized décor to create a bold and fun environment for your guests to celebrate your special day, the Gilbert Center offers a flexible space open to your creativity. The space allows for plenty of room for a dance floor in order for you and your guests to dance the night away after your romantic ceremony. Furthermore, the Stenard Memorial Garden’s paved red brick path and diverse greenery, along with the picturesque foliage of the surrounding campus, provide the perfect scene for wedding photos with your wedding party, no matter what the season.

Venue Notes

The rental fee is $1,150 for a ceremony and reception and includes 8 hours of rental time including set up and clean up time.
