Eden Try was established by a horticulturalist owner and is still family-owned. The name Eden Try originates from the owner’s attempt to recreate the Garden of Eden in Virginia. You can still see vestiges of these original efforts throughout the one hundred private acres, which feature manicured lawns, grape vines, terraced rose gardens, and ancient tree lines. Wedding ceremonies can take place in front of the formal front entry and gardens, with an impressive vineyard grape vine backdrop, or in the rear blue-stone terrace with signature tiered rose gardens, or finally, in the natural amphitheater and wedding pergola toward the rear of the property. During the cocktail hour, guests may take pleasure in the ancient trees and mature landscaping, manicured lawns, old stone walking paths, fountains, and gardens. Eden Try’s upscale Vineyard Barn features soaring ceilings, cathedral-grade beams, natural wood floors, chandeliers, and cantina lighting.
