Douglas Entrance Overview
Completed in 1927, the Douglas Entrance is a historical venue in Miami, FL. It evokes a classic, Spanish charm with its Mediterranean Revival style architecture. Originally known as La Puerta Del Sol, it was one of the original entrances into the City of Coral Gables. Upon arriving you’re greeted by a beautiful, large fountain which serves as the perfect backdrop for your ceremony. Your cocktail hour can be held outdoors in front of the building’s façade. Your dinner reception will be hosted inside the ballroom which offers ornate, vaulted ceilings and large windows where natural light beams through. Events are catered exclusively by Joy Wallace Catering and are inclusive of: - Fountain Ceremony - Cocktail Hour with welcome drink and passed hors d‘oeuvres - Champagne Toast - Dinner (Plated, Stations, or Buffet) - Tables, Chiavari chairs, Linens and Napkins We look forward to hosting your big day!Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $3,5000 to $5,500, depending on the season and day of the week. Events are granted exclusive use of the venue for 5 hours. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $500/hr.Amenities And Requirements

- Alcohol must be provided by venue- All food and beverage handled by venue- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Catering provided by venue- Music must end by 2:00AM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Smoking outside only- Venue must approve all decorations
