Boasting 72-acres, Bernard’s Landing offers panoramic views of Smith Mountain Lake, abundant lush green spaces, and majestic mountain views! We offer wonderful venues to help you create your perfect wedding There are 4 wonderful venues to choose from at Bernard's Landing. Whether you reserve the Bernard House & Pavilion, The Highlands Event Center, Wedding Pergola or the quaint Bernard's Landing Beach, we are confident you will not be disappointed. The Bernard House is an Antebellum style home built in the mid 1800's. It offers over 5,200 square feet of covered and open deck space with magnificent views of the mountains and lake and can accommodate 250 guests. Meeting and event space for up to 120 guests is available inside The Highlands Event Center with its glass atrium & newly remodeled deck. n additional to the wonderful wedding venues, there are also rental properties on-site consisting of condos, patio homes & townhomes available to you, your family & guests. During your stay, you can enjoy all the amenities that Bernard's Landing offers (2 outdoor pools, one indoor pool, tennis & pickle ball courts, fitness facility & more). In addition, our on-site restaurant & bar, Napoli By the Lake is a short walk from any of our venues.
