The Gateways Inn is the perfect Berkshires wedding venue. Neoclassical in style, the Inn holds many Old World architectural features. The Tiffany-style leaded rose windows that flank the entrance were created in France. Westerly evening sun will highlight romantic and lovely portraits through these unique windows. The balconied, wraparound staircase in the entrance hall was built on designs from Stanford White. Draped in tulle, ivy, lush greenery or just left alone, the staircase is a lovely backdrop for wedding photos. The window enclosed terrace room adjacent to the Rockwell dining room is perfect for wedding ceremonies. For couples seeking a cozier atmosphere, the beautiful lobby area is also available. The large main dining room is perfect for your reception. The champagne beige table linens highlight the tableware, fine china and silver. The terrace room is the perfect space for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and/or desserts, when opened up to the bar area for a cocktail hour. The smooth stone floor is the perfect place to dance the night away and celebrate your special day.
