Ballard Homestead Overview

This classic clapboard house will be the perfect venue for the couple that wishes to host a reception with a relaxed, yet elegant ambiance. This quaint location features multiple dressing rooms allowing the couple to prepare for the big day on site and not have to worry about transportation. If you wish to host an outdoor reception the side yard offers space for an intimate affair or the perfect spot to set up lawn games for guests to enjoy. Inside you will find the Main Hall, an expansive, flexible space that allows you to setup the room to meet your needs. The elevated stage is the perfect place for a band / speeches. to exchange vows and later in the night the best spot to throw the bouquet from! For dinner the room can be set up with tables for a seated dinner and the blank canvas of the walls and the simplicity of the light fixtures will allow your decorations to truly pop, making your wedding feel like an event that truly expresses your unique style, rather than that of a standard banquet hall.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $1,500 to $2,500 for a reception and includes 8 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $100/hr. A refundable security deposit of $800 is required.
