1940 Air Terminal Museum Overview

The 1940 Air Terminal Museum is housed in the original art-deco Houston Municipal Airport building at present-day William P. Hobby Airport. This iconic building will leave a lasting impression on your guests and offers a stunning backdrop for perfect photo opportunities. All of the spaces are open and airy, with large spaces to accommodate a flexible floor plan. You’ll love your wedding moments in this unique, memorable museum in Houston. The Atrium is a curvilinear space that serves as an elegant ceremony site. With easy access to exhibit halls, this room promises to be a great focal point for your event! Afterward, dance the night away in one of Houston's most iconic buildings. Our Hangar is currently unavailable for events.

Venue Notes

The rental fee for the Air Terminal ranges from $2,500 to $4,000 depending on your group size for a wedding ceremony, reception, or dinner rehearsal. It includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $250/hr. Please inquire with the event coordinator for ceremony only pricing. Our Hangar is currently unavailable.
