MXDC Cocina Mexicana Overview

MXDC Cocina Mexicana by Todd English offers Mexican cuisine with a modern touch. We're located on 14th St, in the bustling Logan Circle neighborhood of Washington DC. Created by Todd English, MXDC's menu includes small plates, entrees, and family-style dishes. The menu offers traditional foods from various regions throughout Mexico. Taco options include Pork Belly; beer-battered Mahi Mahi; and Carne Asada. Other favorites include the Seven-Chile Lamb Shank, Tortilla Soup and our open-faced quesadillas. Warmly lit by copper chandeliers and accented with walls of wood and glass, the split-level space has a modern, yet soothing rustic feel. You can enjoy a small gathering in the upper level or rent out the entire venue for a large celebration. The decor and ambiance makes MXDC the perfect destination for a romantic evening celebrating the beginning of your newly married life. The bar area is the perfect space for a happy hour with extensive cocktail and tequila menus.

Venue Notes

There is no rental fee for a ceremony and reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 3 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Please inquire with venue coordinator for ceremony-only wedding availability. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $500/hr. A full buyout of the restaurant is required if guest count exceeds 125 or if there is amplified music with a hired DJ or band. There is an additional fee for a buffet for under 50 guests.
