Killens Pond Nature Center Overview
For the outdoorsy couple, the Killens Pond Nature Center is an ideal venue for your special day. The nature center is located alongside the pond and at the edge of the park’s forest, creating a gorgeous backdrop for wedding portraits. The view of the pond and the covered outdoor decks connect your guests with the natural features of the park. Enjoy a romantic outdoor ceremony behind the nature center and then move inside for an intimate reception. Guests will be able to enjoy cocktail hour while mingling on the covered observation deck or move inside and learn a bit by viewing the large collection of native reptiles and amphibians in the separate exhibit area. Inside the LEED accredited building the modern conference room will be transformed by décor of your choice that reflects your own unique style. Guests will be able to enjoy dinner while toasting to your happiness and enjoying views of the pond through the expansive windows.Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $500 to $1,000 for a ceremony and reception. The cost covers 8 hours of rental time from 3pm – 11pm, which includes set up time from 3pm – 5pm and clean up time from 10pm to 11pm. The wedding may start at or after 5pm. Please note that guest counts higher than 50 would not be seated all in the same space and would be split between rooms and decks. Fees listed are only for nature center rentals, please inquire further about pricing information for an outdoor ceremony at one of Killens Pond State Park’s four pavilions.Amenities And Requirements
