Situated on the Thea Foss Waterway in downtown Tacoma, Museum of Glass presents contemporary art. The Museum’s state-of-the art facility offers a unique venue and a variety of settings for your wedding ceremony and reception. All rental spaces include access to the galleries for your guests. The Grand Hall is an inviting 6,900 square-foot entrance and primary circulation space for the Museum. This is an elegant space with high ceilings for a grand and traditional atmosphere. The outdoor Plazas are adjacent to the Museum’s reflecting pools and offer stunning views of artwork, the Thea Foss Waterway and the cityscape. The Main Plaza is an ideal location for a large wedding for a couple who loves contemporary art. The Mezzanine Plaza overlooks the Thea Foss Waterway and esplanade. This Plaza is bordered by one of the Museum’s three reflecting pools. The Rooftop Plaza offers an extraordinary panorama, encompassing Tacoma’s Museum District, the upper portion of the Museum’s cone, Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountain Range.
