Portland Avenue Community Center Overview

Looking for a special place to hold your Tacoma nuptials? The Portland Avenue Community Center will provide you with the space you need to enjoy a day of dinner and dancing. The Portland Avenue Center has long been a neighborhood hub offering a variety of community services and events for the neighborhood. The charming, family friendly facility is ideal for your wedding celebration. The Portland Avenue Community Center is an ideal complement to a ceremony held off-site at a nearby park or local place of worship. Alternatively, you can host your ceremony on-site either using one of the smaller meeting rooms or flipping the main event space and turning it from ceremony site to reception area. Say “I do,” then eat, drink, dance, and be married. The venue’s polished floors are perfect for dancing. The facilities manager is happy to provide you with resources and assistance as you plan your special day.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $200 to $300 for a ceremony and reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $75/hr. A refundable security deposit of $350 is required. There is an additional event fee applied to all events.
