Rose Hill Plantation Overview

Rose Hill Plantation is part of a country estate established in 1762 through a land grant from King George II to the Boddie family. Today's centerpiece is the beautifully restored late 18th-century Manor House, the ancestral home of the Boddie family who owns and operates Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. Rose Hill is located in Nash County not far from Nashville, NC, and a 15-minute drive from Rocky Mount. Rose Hill’s stately Manor House underwent an extensive renovation to its original splendor in the early 1980s by the Boddie family and was also expanded. This beautiful and historic site can be the perfect setting for your special wedding celebration. Beautifully appointed, the house provides a setting that is a throwback to a much earlier era in North Carolina’s history. Heart of pine floors, European window panes and fine accents make it a unique treasure in Eastern North Carolina. Adjacent to the white-columned Manor House is Nathan Hall, built in 2005 and named after Boddie ancestor and Rose Hill founder Nathan Boddie, which serves as an upscale wedding and banquet facility.
