Summerset Winery Overview
Summerset Winery is located just minutes from Downtown Des Moines and is the ideal location for a unique wedding. The stunning white Winery is situated on gorgeous green land with a beautiful backdrop of rolling hills of vines. The iconic red doors of the building are welcoming and inviting. Imagine an outdoor ceremony as you walk down the aisle towards the love of your life. Your guests will witness this magical moment with unmatched views of this fantastic property. Afterwards, pose for wedding day photos with your new spouse as the sun peeks through the trees. Meet your guests for a glass of wine and let the party begin. The upstairs event ballroom is bathed in light and white features for a calm and neutral ambiance. You may also choose to host your reception outdoors where you and your guests will be surrounded by greenery of trees, grass and of course, grapevines. Whichever you decide, Summerset Winery awaits you for the picturesque wedding you’ve always dreamed of.Venue Notes
The rental fee is $3,500 for ceremony and/or reception and includes 10 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $500/hr. Requirements
- All wine and beer must come through Summerset Winery- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- BYO alcohol- Biodegradable items permitted to be thrown- Music must end by 11:00PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Security is required if 2 or more kegs are present- Smoking outside only- Venue must approve all decorations- Wheelchair access limited
