The Vollmer Center at Cylburn Arboretum Overview

*2021 is now booked; we will begin taking new reservations on January 3, 2022* Nestled in the Cold Spring/ Newtown neighborhood within the City of Baltimore, Cylburn Arboretum is an oasis of peaceful beauty on 207 acres. Cylburn Arboretum is composed of manicured gardens, rustic woodland trails, Cylburn Mansion (a charming Victorian Era Manor House) and the ultra-modern, "green" Vollmer Center. The Vollmer Center offers a breathtaking contemporary space that is the perfect match for a gorgeous Baltimore wedding. Artfully combining clean modern architecture with the organic beauty of nature, The Vollmer Center provides soon-to-be-wed couples with a stunning venue that will give your event an unrivaled sense of elegance. Imagine exchanging your most sacred vows in one of the arboretum’s scenic garden areas, saying your “I do’s” surrounded by lush greenery and blooming flowers. Sip on some finely crafted cocktails and dine on a delectable meal in the expansive ballroom, an immense venue featuring sky high ceilings and a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows that truly defines the space. Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $1,000 to $5,500 for a a wide variety of combinations for your perfect day, including garden ceremonies, use of Cylburn Mansion and cocktail hour and reception space in The Vollmer Center. Saturday and Sunday rentals are 8 hour minimum rentals, however Friday and weekday rentals can be customized. Rental times include time needed to setup and clean up your event. All outdoor receptions require a tented space in the gardens. Please inquire with Event Coordinator, Laurie Boswell, for additional details. A refundable security deposit of $1,000 is required.

- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- Music end time is 11:00PM outdoors- Music must end by 11:00PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Smoking in designated areas only- Venue must approve all decorations
