Downtown Aquarium Denver Overview

Wow your wedding guests with a venue as unique as your love and host your wedding celebration at Denver’s Downtown Aquarium. The public aquarium is more than an aquatic exhibit featuring over 500 species of underwater animals, it is also an entertainment and dining complex, perfectly equipped to accommodate your special day. The Nautilus Ballroom boasts beautiful hand-painted ceilings, stunning beaded chandeliers and plush carpeting that will transport you and your guests to a water-inspired world of elegance and refinement. Declare your love right on-site with a romantic ceremony in the ballroom. Then move guests to the Dive Lounge, an upscale bar located on the first floor, for a posh cocktail hour. Guests can also enjoy breathtaking views of the downtown skyline from the observation deck. During cocktail hour, the ballroom is transformed from ceremony area to reception site. The festivities continue with a delicious meal from the award-winning culinary team back in the Nautilus Ballroom. End the evening with toasts and dancing. The professional and helpful staff is happy to assist you in planning the details of your day from start to finish so your day will be nothing short of spectacular!

Venue Notes

The rental fee is $1,500 for a reception (4 hour block) and includes set up, clean up, and complimentary parking for all guests. The fee for a ceremony ranges from $500 to $750 with reception rental or $1,000 for a ceremony only wedding. There is a $55 per person food and beverage minimum with an overall food and beverage minimum of $5,000. Receive one hour complimentary in our Dive Lounge for a cocktail hour if you book a ceremony and reception.

Requirements

- Alcohol must be provided by venue- All food and beverage handled by venue- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Bartender fee of $100 per bartender but this is waived if $750.00 is met per bartender- Catering provided by venue- Food & beverage minimum- Inquire with venue for a larger dance floor over 125 guests- Music must end by 11:30PM- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Smoking outside only- Venue must approve all decorations
