Canterbury School Overview

Canterbury School is the perfect location for your Triad wedding and reception. Canterbury School’s Phillips Chapel offers a traditional, picturesque church setting - large enough to seat 500 people, but intimate enough to share your special day with those closest to you. Your walk down the aisle will be framed by breathtaking stained glass windows and the dramatic sound of organ music. Phillips Chapel’s gothic cathedral design will provide you with your own Royal wedding right in North Carolina’s Triad. Not only does this venue offer a sacred space for your wedding, but they also offer a beautiful reception venue adjacent to the chapel. Ideally located for your out-of-town guests, your friends and family can walk next door to begin the celebration. Canterbury School’s Berry Hall lends itself to wide variety of designs and wedding themes, beautifully manicured grounds, a covered patio, and an open air courtyard so your guests can dance the night away inside, or mingle underneath the stars. Venue Notes

The rental fee is $1,500 for a reception and includes 10 hours of rental time including set up and clean up time if doing a ceremony and reception. A reception-only event includes 6 hour of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony is $1,700 with reception rental or $2,000 for a ceremony-only wedding with no reception. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $150/hr. A refundable security deposit of $300 is required. Please inquire with venue coordinator for ceremony 5-hour block rate which includes set up and clean up.
