Hold the wedding of your dreams on the six-acre Updike Farmstead! Nestled in the heart of Princeton’s Historic District, The Farmstead consists of a late 18th century farmhouse and a large barn built in 1892, all which add an authenticity that resonates with guests to create a perfect evening. The expansive back porch overlooks the bucolic landscape of preserved farmland and is the most romantic place imaginable for a “First Look” moment. If you wish to have an outdoor ceremony or reception, the open yard is perfect to enjoy balmy summer nights. Picture yourself taking stunning wedding portraits with your wedding party in front of the white clapboard house that is perfectly contrasted with the bright green of the expansive lawn. This is the perfect venue for the couple that is searching for the elegant, yet rustic country feel that will instantly make their guests feel at ease.Venue Notes
The rental fee is $8,000 (plus a partially tax-deductible year membership to the Historical Society of $200) for a ceremony and reception and includes exclusive use of the 6-acre property, including rehearsal and set up time the day before, seating for up to 120 guests (more seating can be rented), a staff member to help coordinate site details, evening security, permit fees, and event insurance coverage. The fee for a ceremony-only is $2,000. The venue is available for event bookings May through October.Amenities And Requirements
