Under new management! Nestled in the community of Northwood and Oakwell Farms, St. Pius X Catholic Church offers a lovely venue for a Catholic ceremony. The Family Center Hall is a great venue for a flourishing reception. Enjoying a unique location near the Ft. Sam Houston Military base, this singular church is as diverse as it is traditional. You and your beloved can be united before God, saying your “I do’s” beneath the rich wooden adoration altar and beautifully vaulted ceilings that soar to the heavens. You and your beloved will be wed among your closest friends and family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for this important day. The church’s Family Center Hall is the ideal space for a wedding reception. Not only is it incredibly inexpensive, but it also features a gorgeous ceiling that is sure to complement any decor. Sky high vaults, exposed wooden panels, designer pendant lighting, and contemporary-style protrusions that create a unique space that is perfect for dining and dancing the night away! We also offer an outdoor Grotto Deck for small ceremonies.

Venue Notes

Our rental fee ranges from $1500-2700. Security for your event is provided by SAPD at a cost of $240 per officer (number of officers depends on a variety of factors). There is a $400 security deposit required to lock in your event date, up to $300 can be refunded based on cleanliness and damage assessment following your event.
