Mission San Luis Overview

Your wedding ceremony and reception can become a part of the heritage of our National Historic Landmark site. Choose from a variety of uniquely beautiful spaces in the elegant event/visitor center and on the historic grounds. Mission San Luis is a Living History Museum that tells the stories of the Apalachee Indian and Spanish residents of a mission settled more than 300 years ago. Say your “I-dos” or have a cocktail lounge in the wonderful outdoor enclosed courtyard with fountain that is beautifully framed by grand oaks. The adjacent Mission Room Banquet Hall has soaring beamed ceilings and accommodates 150 guests comfortably and up to 250 seated guests for a fabulously fun, memorable, and stylish reception. For larger outdoor ceremonies, you can walk down the “paseo” aisle to say your vows at the “portal to the 17th century” with the view of the historic site beyond. Or choose the two-story lobby with interior and exterior balconies to serve as a gorgeous backdrop for pledging your love. Generous spaces in the classrooms and boardroom are ideal for bridal party dressing and keeping the kids entertained before the ceremony. Even a theatre is available.
