Snapdragon Inn Overview
Nestled on the Main Street of charming town of Windsor Vermont, the Snapdragon Inn offers a bucolic historical locale that is ideal for romantic vintage weddings. Originally built in the early 19th century, this beautiful 3 story brick home has gone by many names over the years, yet for the last 200 years this stunning structure has truly stolen the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Only recently has this beautiful building become open to the public, giving the Inn an exclusive feel that is ideal for your big day. Standing on over an acre of finely manicured lawns adjoining an expansive patch of park land, this venue is perfect for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. Imagine exchanging your vows beside the sparkling pond in Paradise Park, with Mt.Ascutney standing tall in the background, creating an unforgettable backdrop for your sacred vows. The Inn’s grand porch is fantastic for sipping on fine cocktails and wines. The Main Lawn is a fantastic location for an airy tented reception, while the Snapdragon’s historic interior provides a classic setting for dining and dancing the night away!Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $3,500 to $5,200 (depending on time of year) for a ceremony and reception and includes 12 hours of rental time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee is $1,000 to $1,200 for an elopement or small wedding. A refundable damage deposit of $500 to $1,000 is required depending on size. Please note, for parties smaller than 35 for a one day rental, inquire with the venue for details. Cannot sell alcohol with no bartender, if planning to sell it then they need a licensed bartender. Inquire with the venue for holiday pricing. Small Weddings and Elopements includes accommodations for two nights for two at the Snapdragon Inn. Large Weddings include all nine rooms for wedding party use, for up to 23 guests.Amenities And Requirements
