Helmer Lobby can accommodate up to 200 guests for sit down dining and up to 500 for a cocktail reception. It is perfect for either ceremony or reception as you delight your guests with the museum’s airy, modern surroundings. The Lobby space is open with contemporary furniture and unique style. The Leslie P. Sussman Atrium and outdoor terrace are perfect settings for a wedding ceremony, offering sweeping views of downtown Tacoma as well as stunning views of Mount Rainier. Or, consider the Murray Family Event Space. An open layout with access to a complete audio/video suite makes this space a favorite spot for meetings up to 80 people. The sleek room is simple in design and open in layout. You can’t go wrong with any option at this spectacular venue. Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $2000 to $4,500 for a ceremony and reception and includes 4 hours of event time with 1 hour set up and clean up time on each end of your event time. Additional hours can be arranged for a prorated fee. Please note, the venue is available for rental Tuesday-Sunday and is open to the public Tuesday-Sunday from 10am-5pm.
