Intervale Center Overview

Located just a mile from downtown Burlington, the Intervale Center's renovated 1860's Community Barn offers a convenient, rustic, and picturesque setting for your special day. Say your “I do’s” in a quaint ceremony outside on the venue’s gorgeous green grounds surrounded by stunning trees, bushes, and of course, your happy loved ones. After you officially become married, take wedding photos around the breathtaking property that will be the awe of all your friends and family for years to come. For the reception, there is no better place than the big, red barn which will fit all your loved ones with room to spare. The high-vaulted wooden ceiling sprinkled elegantly with twinkling lights will provide the perfect ambiance for you and your newlywed as you eat, drink, and dance the night away with all of your guests. At the Intervale Center, you and your guests will be able to joyfully celebrate your big day in the beautiful countryside as you and your newlywed embark on this new adventure together.

Rental Fees: Event Space: Private party (weekend) - $7,000 for current Vermont residents, $8,000 for non-residents* *At least one of the two people getting married must be a legal Vermont resident ( Friday 1 PM – Monday 7 AM) The rental fee includes exclusive access of the property from Friday at 1PM to Monday at 7AM. The venue is only available for bookings May through mid-October. Rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch may be included for no additional fee. Please inquire with the venue for a ceremony-only wedding. All beverages must be handled through the caterer and a licensed bartender. Outdoor reception requires a tent rental for 110+ guests.

- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- All beverages must be handled through caterer and licensed from a licensed bartender- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- General liability insurance required- Limited lighting is available- Music must end by 11:00PM- No flames allowed on the premises- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- No smoking- Outdoor reception requires a tent rental for 110+ guests
