Anita B. Gorman Park Overview
Celebrate your union in this historic Kansas City Park dedicated to the philanthropic efforts of Anita B. Gorman. This park boasts artistic exhibitions like the Bridge of Friendship Statue and the majestic display that is the Clay County Veteran’s Memorial. This bronze eagle sculpture and surrounding stone stadium is an iconic Kansas City landmark that any American couple would be honored to make a vow near. Additionally, this 45-acre park features sprawling green meadows lined with stately trees hovering over the fields. Imagine string lights hanging from the branches of the trees and white petals strewn across the green. Hang sheer white voile linens along vintage wooden chairs to highlight the inherent romantic atmosphere of this space. This wide, open park will serve as the ideal spot to design a lovely wedding party. The rental fee is $150 for a ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Clients can go tour then parks during open hours. For parties larger than 250 or for a 12 hour rental inquire with venue for details. No electricity is provided. Restrooms are not included in the rental. For weddings with more than 250 people in attendance, the use of large equipment (tents larger than 10 x 10, staging, large sound systems, portable restrooms, inflatables, etc.)l or consumption of alcoholic beverages will require general liability insurance for the event and fees for other permits needed may apply, inquire for details.Amenities And Requirements
