American Legion Post 16 Overview

Situated in the heart of Lapeer, the American Legion Post 16 not only offers veterans a retreat from the hustle and bustle of civilian life, but also provides soon-to-be-wed couples with a classic yet affordable setting for hosting their big day! Say your “I do’s” in the romantic pavilion that is perfect for custom decorating, creating an airy outdoor setting for one of the most important moments of your life. Utilize one of the Legion’s many event spaces to celebrate your union, whether your occasion is large or small. Dance the night away on an original and impeccably maintained wooden floor in the Ballroom Hall, an expansive banquet space. The Lower Hall is also well-suited for dining and dancing, including a newly tiled floor! Customize each space exactly to your specifications with the help of the Legion’s hand-selected list of vendors. The American Legion Post 16 will bend over backwards to ensure that your big day is everything you’ve ever dreamed of and more!

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $400 to $800 for a reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony ranges from $400 to $800. A refundable security deposit of $300 is required. There is also a required clean up fee of $200. Please inquire with venue for outdoor reception options. Venue is holding a "Wedding Tasting" Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm. Please inquire with venue for details.
