With a mission to demonstrate the role Chesapeake Bay Watermen, from pre-colonial to modern times, have played in the shaping of our nation, this venue provides a historical display of exhibits, crafts and methods of their trade. Your guests will love exploring the Museum as they celebrate your nuptials. The Carriage House with a deck overlooking the York River, the large Event Tent and Deck, the beautiful beach, and other areas of the grounds are available for your special wedding celebration. With so many options at this venue, there is something to suit every bride. With water views in almost every nook and cranny of this venue, you and your guests will enjoy breathtaking scenery throughout the celebration. The rental fee is $2,000 for the Beach, Carriage House and Events Tent area includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a Beach ceremony ONLY is $800. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee, please inquire with venue for specific details. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required. Please note, Set-up start time is flexible on weekends, inquire with venue for specific details. Discounts available for active-duty armed force members and museum members.
